Florida State University offers an online curriculum for a Professional Certification in Human Trafficking Prevention and Intervention.
This curriculum was developed as a joint project of the FSU Clearinghouse on Trauma & Resilience within the Institute for Family Violence Studies, the College of Social Work, and the FSU Center for the Advancement of Human Rights. The curriculum enables professionals to develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand the dynamics of the different types of human trafficking. It also provides professionals with practical skills to increase awareness of and improve services and interventions for victims/survivors of trafficking.
This self-paced curriculum includes seven chapters and 12 hours of course content with research-based readings, case scenarios, multi-media materials, 11 new videos from experts in the field, assignments, and quizzes.

Participants must report their certificate to their licensure board to receive credit. We do not report to the licensure boards. Participants outside of Florida must self-report to their own licensing board to determine the credit awarded. Continuing Legal Education Credits:Florida Lawyers Continuing Legal Education credit has been approved as follows:
Florida Bar members can report their CLE credit online through the Member Portal. The course number required to report credits is provided upon successfully completing the training. Continuing Judicial Education Credits:Judges The Office of the State Courts Administrator of the Florida Supreme Court has approved a total of ten point five (10.5) Continuing Judicial Education (CJE) units to judges and magistrates in Florida. |
